The Senate may next week start the screening of the 12 ministerial nominees sent to it by President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday.
The nominees are a former Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro (Lagos); ex-National Security Adviser, Aliyu Gusau(Zamfara); former Adamawa State Governor Boni Haruna and Nigeria’s Ambassador to China, Aminu Wali (Kano).

Also on the ministerial list are Mohammed Wakil (Borno); Hadjia Jamila Salik (Kano); Lawrencia Mallam (Kaduna); Akon Eyakenyi (Akwa Ibom); Abdul Adesiyan (Osun); Khaliru Alhassan (Sokoto); Tamuno Danagogo (Rivers) and Asabe Ahmed (Niger).
